Youtube double ads
For a few months now, Youtube has doubled the number of ads displayed as prerolls and midrolls. Instead of one single ad, there are now 2 consecutive commercials. To avoid to overexpose the users to advertising, they however limit the number of ad breaks. Studies show Google that people prefer to be interrupted less often.
At the same time, Youtube announced that it would broadcast full movie films for free, interrupted by some ad breaks. Youtube gradually comes closer to the linear television model.
