Offline media investments up 2% in first half 2018
Nielsen data for the first half of 2018 are now available. They show a 2% increase for offline media in current amounts. The market is driven by TV and out of home, while print media still suffer (newspapers somewhat maintain their position). As reliable data for online advertising are not available anymore from Nielsen, we have estimated the value of Internet market in Belgium. Not surprisingly growth is higher than in any other medium. As we get a temporary access to direct mail data, it appears that that channel increases 5% in the first 6 months of 2018.
